Wcalc is a more capable calculator than the one that comes with the default Mac OS X. It has standard functions (sine, asin, and sinh for example), defined constants (pi, e), defend for using variables, a history, and an expandable expression introduction field. What's New: Version 1.7 adds the following: A "simpleton" calculator mode was added to the GUI. Variable substitution, file loading, and error stickiness were entirely fixed. It straightaway provides slightly more informative math errors, and straightaway accepts numbers in the form "5." (without the quotes), among other miscellaneous cleanups and minor bugfixes.
